Data deletion

Ask us to delete your data.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time, for any reason, without giving one. This page explains exactly how.

How to request deletion

Email [email protected] with the subject line “Data deletion request”, and include:

  • the email address, order number, or account you used with us;
  • which platform it relates to, if you reached us through one (for example Facebook or Instagram).

That is the whole process. There is no form to fill in and no account to create.

What happens next

  • Within 72 hours we complete the deletion and confirm in writing. The law allows 30 days; we hold ourselves to three.
  • We may ask one question to confirm you are who you say you are. We ask for the least we can — we will not demand ID for a routine request.

What we delete

Everything we hold that identifies you: your name, email address, delivery address, order contents, messages you have sent us, and any records created from them. Deletion covers our live database and our backups, on the backup rotation schedule.

What we may have to keep, and why

We keep the minimum the law requires, and nothing else:

  • Transaction and tax records — retained for the period required by Irish tax law. These are financial records, not marketing data, and are not used for anything else.
  • A record that a deletion happened — the date and the fact of it, without the deleted content. This is how we can prove your request was honoured.

If a legal retention rule applies to something you've asked us to delete, we tell you which one and when it expires.

If you reached us through Facebook or Instagram

Email us as above and say which platform. We will delete anything we hold that came from that platform. Removing our access from within Facebook or Instagram stops any further data reaching us, but it does not by itself delete what we already hold — so please still send the request.

If you're not satisfied

Tell us first and we will try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie. If you live elsewhere in the EU or the UK, you may complain to your own national data protection authority instead.
